George and Fi are incredible hosts that will make Accra feel like home. Their building is beautiful, well kept, and the rooms are all very secure from mosquitos (I stayed for 3 months and only ever had 1 mosquito in my room). The location, Asylum down, is perfect for travelers trying to experience life in Ghana. The neighborhood itself is extremely safe, and, while mostly quiet around the house, local bars and restaurants are a 3-10 minute walk away. Getting to the main road for a tro tro is easy, as the stop is two blocks away. ATMs, a clinic where you can get a malaria test without an appointment, and groceries are all even closer. The house has incredible outdoor spaces where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful plants or, even better, meet some of the wonderful people who pass through. George and Fi, in particular, are wonderful to talk to. If you asked George for a recommended place to eat every night for 10 years, he would still surprise you with a new gem every night. Fi has awesome vegan restaurant recommendations and knows lots of places to enjoy some all natural healthy dishes. I cannot overstate how great this place is for a stay short or long--Great AC, great working Wi-Fi, good water pressure, fridge space, cooking area with cookery included, beautiful view of sunset on second floor terrace, and very kind hearted, caring hosts who can help you with any question you have about Ghana (or, if you prefer to keep to yourself, they have no problem letting you do your own thing too). If I HAD to list any draw backs to this place, I would say the road in front of the house can be slightly busy because it is a short cut. That makes it easy to get a taxi Uber or bolt, but you have to be careful while walking around at rush hour (that's Ghana lol). I can't thank you two enough for being incredible hosts, and I look forward to my next stay with you both when I return to Ghana. Cheers!

Extraordinary welcome! The family put themselves in order to welcome me despite my late flight. Good installation. Apartment conforms to the indication on the announcement, very well located near the airport, very easy access to amenities and the city. Advice on what to visit in Accra or Ghana and how. I also wanted to improve my English and Monsieur is a very good English teacher, motivating and humble. Thanks for the stay!! I will come back.
