We built our mountain cabin entirely ourselves in 2003. We live in the upper level and the lower level is your completely private space with a separate entrance/exit and dedicated parking. Guests have access to 1 bedroom with 4-piece, ensuite bathroom, plus a central living area, small kitchenette and partially covered, large deck. These amenities are not shared. We live in the upper level, and use the other, lower-level bedroom as an office and friend/family guest space, and it has it's own separate entrance/exit as well. Surrounded by forested mountains, our 6 acre property is our homestead sanctuary that we like to share with travelers! Only AWD or 4WD vehicles are permitted to access our property using a gravel mountain road. 15 miles from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, within Nantahala National Forest, 7 rivers, 11 lakes, ziplines, rafting, biking, hiking, climbing, swimming, paddling and wilderness adventure are close at hand!
