Our home is located in the suburbs, approximately 8 kilometers north of the central Kyoto. Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood on the mountainside, it offers a splendid view of the city and Mt. Hiei right in front from the elevated location. The renowned UNESCO World Heritage site, "Kamigamo Shrine," is also nearby. The nearest subway station is Kitayama St., which is about a 14-minute ride from Kyoto Station, followed by a short taxi ride of less than 10 minutes or an 8-minute walk from the Kyoto City Bus terminal, "Nishigamo Shako-mae."
