We live in Washington DC, in the great neighborhood of Takoma. Super well communicated by public transportation to either downtown DC or Maryland. Rock Creek Park is a ten minute walk away, and so it is the Takoma Acquatic center for swiming, free to DC residents. Tennis courts, parks and a great farmers market the whole year round. There are several nice restaurants, such as the legendary organic Marks cafe, Olive lounge, Takoma Station for live jazz. Enjoy the peace of a great neighborhood while living in the city.
