Travel to and from Vanak village requires a taxi (which is no problem in Teheran), but Vahid and his family are wonderful hosts who will really make you feel at home. For a slice of Teherani life with down-to-earth hosts in a quiet part of Teheran, look no further than Vahid's homestay.
