My husband and I have raised three children in this home, and we are now looking to share our Beaches house with others. The room is bright with a queen bed, a private bathroom with shower, and a separate room with a kitchenette and eating area. We live close to the subway and streetcar, and the lake and boardwalk is a 10 min walk through the neighbourhood. Our main floor living areas and backyard are available for use. We like to play the piano, sing, play tennis and go for long walks in our area. We also entertain friends on occasion.

I lived with Patty and Jeff for a year and I have to say that I was so lucky. They were very helpful, kind, smiley all the time. I never felt like I left my home country. Thank you so much for everything

Recomendo bastante a família da Patty. Um dos principais pontos que me fez escolher essa casa foi a presteza e disponibilidade dela em nosso primeiro encontro, além de me mostrar a casa, percorremos todo o bairro para ela me mostrar o que este oferecia. Conversamos definir bem as regras. Um ponto porte acordado foi a questão da comunicação que sempre que uma das partes não gostasse de algo, verbalizaríamos numa boa conversa. Um fato importante para levar em conta é que o casal anfitrião é composto por um canadense e uma americana, o que lhe ajudará bastante a praticar seu inglês. No dia de minha chegada fui recebida com um jantar, de forma amigável e acolhedora. Algumas vezes caminhávamos até a praia, acompanhadas do cachorrinho da casa. Ele parece um pouco bravo, pois late bastante, mas é só um instinto de proteção já que foi adotado (outro ponto forte que gostei na família). Claro que houveram imprevistos e algumas chateações, no entanto foram muito bem resolvidas posteriormente a cada evento. O que é absolutamente normal em uma convivência. Acerca do que pode melhorar, sugiro a questão da organização e limpeza da casa, e buscar uma alternativa para a TV não ser tão próxima ao quarto do locatário. Desejo que sua estadia seja tão boa quanto a minha.
