Room for rent in an independent house in Sant Andreu, near the Fabra i Puig metro station. We speak English, Catalan, Spanish, and Portuguese. It's a two-story house, 150 m2, with a patio with fruit trees, land, a garden, and another terrace on the second floor. It's a unique house in the city. You have to see it. I like the balance between conversation and being free and at my leisure. Because there are two floors and the house is so large, there's a lot of independence. The neighborhood is wonderful, pretty, and special, with pedestrian streets, unique in the city, and with few tourists. Very well connected to the city center, beaches, and mountains. Cristina, très accueillante, est à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Dans cette maison ancienne typiquement barcelonnaise, où on se sent comme à la maison, la chambre et le patio sont agréables et très calmes. Repos garanti la nuit après des journées bien remplies. La proximité des transports en commun facilite l'accès au centre-ville. Compter néanmoins 1/2 h de trajet.

For me and my friend this is a new experience of renting apartments for the short term stay. The apartment is exact the same as on pictures in realty even better. The room itself very comfortable, bright an cozy. Near apartment are metro station, markets, cafes, etc… We’ve got some fun also living together with three wonderful cats. Cristina is a very kind person with fast resolving of any issues and willing to help. I’m 100% recommend this stay for everyone.

Cristina´s place is lovely! The house is in a super nice part of Barcelona and has a good connection to the city center. She has 3 lovely cats in a super cozy place. There are two terasses that you can use and everything is provided. She answers super quickly and is really helpful just in case you need something. If you want to visit BCN - you should visit this place.

First I would like to highlight the good things about staying at the house. The host Cristina is available and tries to answer all questions in short time. The house and the garden are spacious which is super convenient if you don't want to hang around in your room only. On warm days you can escape the heat by using the air conditioner in the living room. The cats are nice and calm. The place is quiet except of the neighbours who can randomly start singing at night or shouting during the day. The metro is 7 minutes away by walking. The supermarkets are also 5-10 min away. Personal recommendation is the Üla Cafe (7 min) with the best and cheapest breakfasts. We were really disappointed by the level of cleaning though. You should be aware that there is an additional cleaning fee required which in our case was 145 Euros for 3.5 weeks. When we arrived, the house wasn´t clean at all, the towels and bed sheets didn´t smell clean neither. The carpet in our room looked like it was last time cleaned months ago. The cleaning lady came only 1.5 weeks after our arrival. If you are not lucky enough with the roomies as we were, you will have to clean bathroom and the kitchen on your own, because once a week is not enough. Moreover you will have to take care of cats, plants and wash your bed sheets before checking out, which we couldn't manage as we had to go to the airport at 4 a.m. I find the cleaning fee unreasonably high because if I am paying that much I expect at least shared rooms to be clean and I don't expect to be taking care of the whole house.
