The house and rooms are beautifully furnished and located only 2.5km (1.5mi) from downtown Sendai, just minutes from Kawaramachi Subway station and 3 short stops on the subway to Sendai Station! All rooms have a new split-type A/C, Sony flat screen TV (Google TV), blackout curtains + lace curtains, double-glazed soundproof windows, steel-frame bed, air purifier, several LED lighting fixtures, desk and chair, carpeted floors and some sound-absorption wall panels. An ideal location for international students, work-study, researchers, teachers, etc. with lots of convenient stores, groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, dry cleaning, coin laundry, pet grooming etc. within a few minutes walk. For guests arriving with lots of luggage or travelling with pet(s), airport pick-up via large-size SUV is available with advanced notice. For more specific accommodation needs, please message me. For those travelling with pet(s), please keep them in their crate when not at home and please make sure that they do not cause any damage to the property. Pets can freely use the garden (fenced and gated). I can also help pet sit depending on schedule. Please book a few months in advance so I can block out the other rooms. There is only 1 designated "Pet-Okay" room which is the 1st Corner Room. Other rooms cannot be booked. The house is co-owned by a brother and sister (Japanese), both raised and educated overseas. Both speak English, Japanese and some French. Currently, the one managing and staying at the property is a Researcher at a University in Sendai City. A large-size SUV is also available (host will be driving) if guests would like to travel out of the city (but within the prefecture) to areas without convenient pubic transportation.
