Splendid private house in typical colonial style. Located strategically to get to know Havana by walking. Situated in full view of the most exclusive neighborhood of Havana. Two steps from Malecon Habanero, calle 23, de la Rampa, look for the historic helmet of old Havana Also surrounded by typical places of the Cuban nightlife and with the sea only 20 minutes away from the beach. The house has an independent entrance for guests without giving up contact with the family who is always available and will make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious with air conditioning, safe, private toilet and mini bar. Independent entrance and with a nice patio where you can relax and enjoy a fresh cervesa. Daily cleaning of the rooms, change of tables and towels included in the price of each room. days. Paid dinner. Free Wifi (always keep in mind the lines from Cuba when there are times when they don't work much)

This gracious family went out of their way to make me feel at home. The room I stayed in had french doors that opened to a tiny balacony. Next to the bedroom is a high ceiling sitting room with a much larger balcony, where one can sit and hear the school children across the street singing the national anthem at 8 a.m. The leafy Vedado neighborhood is a study in contrasts--old elegant colonial mansions, next to colonial and art deco homes, many needing restoration---this is the Havana of today. Breakfast was lovely--fresh fruits, eggs, some Cuban creations, the names of which i do not know--but they were delicious and sliced tomatoes and onions. A memorable stay, especially the delightful chats with Noelia, the daughter.

Thank you all for a lovely stay at your home. You were all very kind to me and especially on my birthday where you surprised me with a birthday cake, flowers and put happy birthday decorations around the breakfast room. Very thoughtful of you all. The family are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, sometimes with a little cake which I thoroughly enjoyed! The house is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. It has a lovely terrace and lounge area for guests, spacious rooms and good facilities. There are a few restaurants nearby but an excellent one on Calle 15, excellent food! Thank you everyone at Casa Tomas! Besos

Sehr gute u saubere Zimmer. Ordentliches Bad mit Dusche u WC. Haus gepflegt mit Terrasse zur Straße. Liebevoll bereitetes Frühstück mit Saft, Toast, Käse, Schinken u Obst. Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit u freundlich. Man sollte etwas spanisch sprechen. Ruhige Gegend, ein paar Restaurants in der Nähe. Uns hat’s gefallen. Die Kubaner sind lebhaft u bis etwa 23.00h nimmt man teil am Leben in der Nachbarschaft

Pépé Tomas et sa famille sont des hôtes exceptionnels, attentifs, prévenants. La chambre est superbe et bien entretenue. En 9 jours, la literie changée 2 fois et la chambre faite tous les jours. Le mini-bar est une touche très agréable avec le rhum, l'eau et la bière. La maison est charmante avec sa terrasse et sa rue calme, à proximité de tout. On se laisse glisser dans la vie de La Havane, ville vibrante, chaleureuse, avec une culture très riche!

Wir waren als Familie 3 Nächte bei Tomas und haben die Zimmer 3 und 4 bewohnt. Das Zimmer 4 würden wir jedoch nur als Einzelzimmer empfehlen, da es nur 9 qm groß ist. Es hat sehr winziges angrenzendes Badezimmer, welches jedoch nur durch einen Vorhang abgegrenzt ist und das Bett ist nur 1,2 Meter breit. Unseren Mietwagen konnten wir problemlos und sicher vor dem Haus parken. Das sehr geschmackvolle Haus liegt in einer schönen Wohngegend. Die schöne Terasse steht allen Gästen zur Verfügung. geräuschempfindliche Menschen würde ich Ohrstöpsel empfehlen, da sich hinter dem Haus unzählige Mietwohnungen befindet und kubanische Temperament auch lautstark werden kann. Das Personal von Tomas, der nicht in dem Haus wohnt ist sehr nett, spricht allerdings nur spanisch.

Hosts are friendly and helpful, room & bathroom & common space are daily and thoroughly cleaned, sheets and towels are frequently changed! Room furniture is sparse: a couple of additional chairs would help hanging up clothes and other things. Outdoor terrace on first floor is nice, breakfast room on ground floor is comfortable and neat. Bathroom is small, it lacks soap & shampoo and shelves for putting things reachable around - so bring your own soap and shampoo! Brekfast is good though repeating itself for long staying guests. Tasty fresh juice, excellent coffee with hot milk! Don't count on bread in Havana, if bread is important, bring your own! Food supplies are really scarce in Havana as food stores and markets are very rare and very modest - building variable European breakfast must be unreasonably difficult if not impossible. Location is good for those not afraid of walking around: 3-4 km from the Old Havana. Fairly calm and vegetated small street, many houses have been obviously beautiful some 100 years back and some are now under reparation. Embassies of Poland and Hungary are in about 300 m distance from the homestay location, along the Avenue of Presidents.

What a wonderful experience we had at the home of Tomas....beautiful colonial home, clean, great food and service. Very helpful in our first adventure to Cuba.....hope to return. Felt like we were leaving family, everyone was so kind and generous !!!!
