I really enjoyed this apartment, it's extremely homely and comfortable, with a big, well-equipped kitchen and it's also quite a big flat. As a landlady, I couldn't ask more from Ana, she's very professional and extremely friendly, and responded well to any requests I had (there were few - you can settle right in here). I work from home and the broadband was usually running at +80mps with no outages over the 6 months I spent there. The area itself is very pleasant - a Pingo Doce very close by and a Continente about ten minute's walk. The local churrasqueira (Frango di Roma) is about 70 metres from the apartment and it does phenomenal chicken. Lots of other good restaurants nearby and a nice cocktail bar - The Cockpit. Friendly bakery just across the road. Easy walking to Avenidas area and all the restaurants, gym, etc. There's a giant sport complex just across Avenida Estados Unidos and a decent cinema in Alvalade that does not impose intervals on the punters. It's very well connected with the metro station a 5 minute walk, plenty of buses and a Gira station (for bike rental) just around the corner. By taxi, you can be at the airport in about 5 minutes. I don't lack for praise for the place, nor the ease with which one dealt with Ana.

I really loved the location, near Avenida de Roma with many cafés, restaurants, banks and the subway. The apartment is well equipped and very confortable. Filipa kindly provided a crib and a high chair for my baby. She also protected the balcony's fence to be safer for the kids. It was a pleasure living there for a month with my family.
