This room is located in a flat on the 3rd (top) floor of a renovated colonial-style building which has 2 small balconies facing the street with views over Havana down to the famous Malecon. This clean private room has its own bathroom, air-con and safe. Breakfast and other meals can be provided at a small charge. Spanish and also dance classes available as well as taxis and excursions. Guests will have their own key and come and go as they please. Use of the kitchen and the large living room is permitted. The host, Miriam, is a retired engineer who speaks good English and can offer guests a lot of information on all the sights and cultural events in Havana. She can act as your guide and also gives Spanish lessons at very reasonable rates. If you appreciate good home cooking, for a small additional cost, Miriam can prepare you authentic Cuban cuisine. This room is legally registered and one or both guests will be asked to complete a registration form. Guests can pay in Sterling/Euros or CUC (Cuban dollars)
